Exactly my thoughts. Think about all the artistic and inventive pursuits you would be missing. Heck, even bears prefer their rabbits by the roll.

When I was a kid I would use them as binoculars and megaphones. Of course, that was when I was a kid. Now that I'm not a kid anymore I use them as.....binoculars and megaphones!
