OT: Today is National Taco Day

I celebrated early. While in Madrid, Cat and I went to Takos al Pastor, which my foodie sister had found in her research. There was a line outside, and the food was excellent. Tacos were €1 each, and beer was €2. We sampled chicken, cactus, mushroom and cheese, and more. €6 per person for dinner. Yum!

LoL. €6 per person for dinner? Was that two beers and two tacos or 1 beer and 4 tacos?
 
How come there isn't a national burrito bowl day?

Chipotle and Starbucks forever.

What kind of foodie are you? National Burrito day is always the first Thursday in April.
Is it really a Burrito though if a bowl is required? I always wondered about that.

Wasnt going to eat tacos today, but I got the grass cut already..... alot earlier than I had planned to....... so perhaps I'll head to a Mexican Food truck or restaurant instead of eating leftover KFC and macaroni and cheese.
 
I should have avoided this thread....... i got a bad feeling imma overdo it for dinner........ Darn UCONN fans Head bang
 
Visited one of the local mexican markets for the first time.... driven by it plenty of times....have been meaning to check it out for a while, but thanks to Coco..... ventured over there to check it out. Cool place.... combination Butcher Shop, Bakery, Mexican Grocery Store, and Grill. Got two Beef Tongue Tacos..... and a Torta de Cubano .... filled with beef, chicken, marinated pork, ham.... lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and jalepeno peppers :eek: Proud of myself for not getting 4 tacos :p

Nah just a reflection of your enhanced senior status. You know, the job that gives you access to the BY annual bonus pool, etc.
