OT: Today is National Taco Day

I celebrated early. While in Madrid, Cat and I went to Takos al Pastor, which my foodie sister had found in her research. There was a line outside, and the food was excellent. Tacos were €1 each, and beer was €2. We sampled chicken, cactus, mushroom and cheese, and more. €6 per person for dinner. Yum!

We were hungry after the afternoon in Reina Sofia, so we had 4 tacos and 1 cold cerveza.

What kind of foodie are you? National Burrito day is always the first Thursday in April.
Is it really a Burrito though if a bowl is required? I always wondered about that.

Wasnt going to eat tacos today, but I got the grass cut already..... alot earlier than I had planned to....... so perhaps I'll head to a Mexican Food truck or restaurant instead of eating leftover KFC and macaroni and cheese.

Visited one of the local mexican markets for the first time.... driven by it plenty of times....have been meaning to check it out for a while, but thanks to Coco..... ventured over there to check it out. Cool place.... combination Butcher Shop, Bakery, Mexican Grocery Store, and Grill. Got two Beef Tongue Tacos..... and a Torta de Cubano .... filled with beef, chicken, marinated pork, ham.... lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and jalepeno peppers Proud of myself for not getting 4 tacos
