OT: The Song Game

Leon Redbone - Shine on Harvest Moon

There is Something on Your Mind -- Bobby Marchan

I'm getting awfully close to 50 different versions of this song (originally done by Big Jay McNeeley) by different artists. But I agree with most R&B afficianados -- this version by part time female impersonator, Bobby Marchan as the definitive one.

Leon Redbone - Shine on Harvest Moon

Anybody else here go to the Leon Redbone/Tom Waits show at the Agora many, many moons ago? About the lowest energy show you could imagine, lol. Highlighted by us standing out in the rain waiting for the doors to open, then Waits walks up wondering why we're getting wet, then banging on the door with some choice curse words to let everyone in.

"Could You Be Loved?" by The Wailers

The Wailers and Rusted Root on the New Haven Green tonight!!

Never saw Leon Redbone in person but was always fascinated by his acoustic guitar technique and that voice.
and his fabulous work on Schoolhouse Rock.
