Just an incredible read in the new Esquire. And our government should be ashamed with how they deal with returning soldiers.

According to subsequent reports, he was, in fact, eligible for health insurance upon leaving the military, I think 5 or 6 months or so. But he was unaware of the benefit, so Phil Bronstein wrote the piece with his own spin. Mentioning the availability of insurance, Bronstein told another reporter, would "make a different story."

On an entirely unrelated note - Bronstein was once married to Sharon Stone.

great story - although it is entirely untrue
Well the Bin Laden parts are true!

Didn't realize that, thanks for the heads-up on the twist. It would be nice for our government to have a system in place where all returning vets are informed of the health insurance offer. Or maybe they are and his notice fell through the cracks? I mean at least follow up with the vets until you get an official YES or NO answer on whether or not they want to opt for the program.

But regardless, the Bin laden stuff was incredibly compelling and ALL TRUE!

There's a guy who posts on Rivals' mainboard that posted that Bin Laden was dead two hours before he was confirmed to be killed by the media, and is pretty closely associated with Seal Team 6. He says that this guy is making almost everything up. He didn't kill Bin Laden, the point man did, and the reason he left the Seals is that all of his teammates hated him, because he's a jerk.

TIFWIW.
