Must be the biggest football crowd in Connecticut in a while. Yale up at halftime, 17-3.

Yale is playing for the Ivy title.

Yale has to do something about that field. Looks awful.

I have always secretly wished the Ivies would return to FBS.

More than 51,000? I'd love to see the ivy go back to FBS...I'd love to see a UConn Yale game too...if the Ivy did upgrade. Harvard UMass, Princeton RU and Penn Temple? Games I'd love to see...

The Ivies going FBS would require a LOT of renovations. Right now, most of their stadiums are museums. I think we can hold off on that wish for a while.

Definitely can happen, just not anytime soon.

My pops filmed every Yale football game from 1960-1992 , currently fighting brain cancer, he would of been over joyed today
Sorry to hear about your dad. Glad that Tony Reno has the Bulldogs relevant in the Ivy again.

Thanks ,it was the way I spent time with him as a kid, my first introduction to sports
Those must be good memories. For my dad and me it was baseball, the NY Mets (him) against the Chicago Cubs (me).

We used to hit two or three games a year at Yale Bowl with my parents and friends. Tailgating and touch football before and after the game. Great memories.

Me, too. UConn-Yale would be something again. But they ran as soon as we started winning.

They would have won if we played them this year. The Ivy League teams seldom if ever play FBS teams anymore.

I'm very sorry about your dad. Thoughts and prayers to him and your family.

I was at most of those Yale games during the 60's and early 70's with my dad. He was a huge Yale fan. We went to some of the away games as well. Those are my most cherished memories of him.
