Just getting around to this now, because Hurricane Dorian -- or the threat thereof -- intervened. A while back I posted that my wife and I were headed to Philly, where we lived for a few years \back around 2000, for a long weekend and were looking for sightseeing suggestions. The BY responded with lots of great suggestions, some of which we actually did. We had a great time and have resolved to go back again when we have an extra day or two to spend. It's really a wonderful (and much-changed) city to spend time in, especially if you can take the time to walk around.
Anyway, thanks to everyone who had suggestions. They really helped.
