This is why I never do these things. I've seen all of these films and just can't remember.

22..Dirty Dancing

I quit.

5. The man with the golden arm.
9. Remains of the day
10. Julia
25. The big sleep.

.-.
2. First Sunday in October ??? (saw this movie in HBO last year)

2..Hey, Kaiz, on SUNDAY, all the Justices are in their houses of worship.

6..What a ship carries...if it's all been bleached.

7..See, Eddie wants his dad to marry. And between '69 and '72, Bill Bixby replicated.

8..Not Gulliver's, somebody else's _______.

14..Given the year and the actress, you can probably guess the writer and director. Mia dabbles in Chinese magic.

15.._____ Written in a Country Churchyard

21..A Dario Argento giallo: L'Uccello della Piume Christallo

8. Sullivan's Travels
14. Alice

7..The Courtship of Eddie's Father. (Hadn't thought of that in ages.)

Most of these you got without competing errors, so I'll settle disputes and fill in the undone.

2..Walter and Jill are Supreme Court Justices. The title FIRST MONDAY IN OCTOBER reflects the starting date of the Court's season.

5..Not the Man With The Golden Arm, but PAL JOEY.

6..WHITE CARGO, an African setting about a love triangle.

9..HOWARD'S END trumps Remains of the Day.

15..ELEGY

16..Yes, it's about a runaway train, but the title is UNSTOPPABLE.

21..Where's K9 when you need her? For English audiences it's THE BIRD WITH THE CRYSTAL PLUMAGE.

25..Like written above, Bacall does not appear in Casablanca. Nor does To Have and Have Not satisfy the 1946 requirement.
Instead of whistling, Pinot should have done what bears do in December and enjoy THE BIG SLEEP.
Meanwhile the extensive list provided by Ms. SVC should lay to rest that when she says she's going out with the girls to the movies,
she is being truthful.

#20 was Dirty Dancing. However Ghost, which came out in 1990 (don't ask how I remember,) should be on the list.

And I walked out the door of my house and said,
8..Sullivan's Travels!

Like I've said, I've seen everyone of these movies. But time has just removed them to the corner of my brain that refers to them as, "That movie with that woman and that guy".

Ghost lacked Jennifer Grey. And I should have pointed that out.
