4. It wasn't the first but it certainly redefined the PC for generations. there were a number of business computers before this - my office had several IBM 5120s doing financial work but they were an all in one unit with 8 inch floppy disks. the 5150 used 5 1/4 inch disks and broke the PC into modules: keyboard, monitor and CPU. And I think it also made MS-DOS the de-facto operating system which made Bill Gates his fortune.

19.. Howard Hughes stops at a gas station, meets owner/attendant and ends leaving him a fortune in a contested will

20..Karl Marx

24..Overthrow of the Emperor and expulsion/murder of all foreigners

15. I think it's a distinct minority, say, 30%. I seem to recall that a remarkable percentage of total guns are owned by a very small percentage of Americans - something like 60% of guns are owned by 10% of the population.

20. Well, as I was reading answers, I blitzed on the Marx. Perhaps the answer is Engels?

Engels sounds good too especially since there does seem to be a statue of Engels in Manchester but when I reread the question and realized it was a stretch to call Marx a native son of Manchester it would seem that would also be true of Engels
