14. Henry Lee, the governor of Virginia, was speaking about George Washington; I think at George's death. The other quote, "first in war, first in peace, last in the American League" was by Shirley Povich about the Washington Senators.
16. Head of the Fed
18. France
19. The Oilers had a 32 point lead on the Bills and list
22. Jan - Mar ??

14. It was about Washington. Don't know who said it though
23. Well there's a Thames (Tims) in London (UK), and a Thames (Thames) in New London, CT. But since you said North American city, might there possibly be a London, New London, London-2 in Canada with a Thames (and subsequently a Covent Garden)? (I doubt there's one in Mexico)
24. You might think this is the end....well it is. To the tune of Stars and Stripes Forever (one John Philip Sousa)

16. The Federal Reserve
19. It would have to be Buffalo's comeback over the Oilers in the 90's; Broke my heart to see Warren Moon not get a chance to play in the Super Bowl. What's worse is that Buffalo mounted this record setting comeback without Jim Kelly, who was injured.

14..Sleep & geordi give us Colonel Henry Lee speaking of stoic George.

15..We were getting an inkling in an earlier question that the Meyers house was in an uproar about Bruno Mars. Now I have it on good authority that Mrs. Meyers has locked the irascible Meyers out of the house. Consequently he is without the proper answer here that she could have provided.
"The Prayer" is the last number on her favorite Josh Groban CD. Also performed by several others, including Celtic Woman.

16..She's to captain the Fed, credit the Pinot quartet.

17..The Cleveland-edge is the planned community of 101 years old Shaker Heights.

18..The river flows in France, as geordi reveals.

19..The Oilers had a seemingly insurmountable lead, but Buffalo storms back.
Sleep, VAUC & geordi can hardly contain their excitement. VAUC especially
was chagrinned that the Oilers could not Moon those Bills. Instead those Houston boys had to pull up their trousers and go home.

20..How 'bout I give you Zsa Zsa?

21..Founder Hubbard seemed to be one of the rarest characters the earth has ever produced.
Sleep tells us it's about Scientology.

22..Oct/Nov

23..There's such a place as London, Ont, not far from Detroit, and with a Piccadilly St. as well.

24..Pinot & Meyers enjoying the gay ol' send up.

25..Storm with a late surge with the mandrill.

Part B interfered with your perfection, falling to an 88% composite(providing you still deal with Q20).

The lyrics quoted must come later in the song, after I've turned it off or left the room (if Mrs. Meyers is listening).
