Rats??
Yup. Charlie Brown occasionally "curses" with "rats", as in "the Charlie Brown Christmas" special, when he complains about not receiving any Christmas cards.

The Ronstadts are Tuscon natives; one of the shows at the local theatre included several of her family members. Two of her Spanish songs start every Softball game. About 2 months ago there was a feature about her Parkinson's on the front page of the local paper, more recently her election to the Hall of Fame was duly noted.

19. The Railroads and Utilities. You can't build on them. They are a flat fee for landing on them.

Well, as I recall, not exactly a "flat fee"' don't you roll the dice again and pay a multiple of the roll?

I think that's right with the utility companies, but railroads are a flat fee, which increases if you own them all.

23. Just read the obit the other day, Joan Fontaine? Olivia de Haviland's sister. They hated each other. Up in her 90's, apparently de Haviland, the older sister, is still alive. Thanks for the hint.

16..Hoop has the clearest language.

17..Paying homage to hoop again who explains that the hand-written will needs no witnesses.

18..See Knights for some detail. Pinot & hoop also cite Linda Ronstadt.

19..Lots of back-&-forth here, indicative of board-game-specific dementia.
