18. I'm sure Jai Alai is correct, but when I saw it I immediately thought of UofA softball. Play ball is announced before each home game as "Juegen pelota", and the same 2 Linda Ronstadt songs, both entirely in Spanish are played, one before the first batter and one before the first batter of the 2nd half of the 1st inning.

Just some misc. trivia, and there is no great meaning - it is just a 19 year tradition.

24. I believe he was one of the first to jump from a plane with a parachute. Years later, D.B. and U of A is Arizona - a softball program comparable only to UCLA historically, but struggling (relatively) the last couple of years.
