14.. I hate it when my hint (of the the Euro director) is worthless. The town is Trier.

15..Pinot knows his libraries...or his universities...or is just a good guesser. Oh yes, UMass.

16..The theme of both is a woman makes an advance announcement that the relationship has a fixed end.
How did such a remarkable event fly right past you?

17..Curacao--another wasted hint. Oh, who are you that my cast pearls so miss?

18..We need to combine the accurate parts of Chap & Pinot's offerings to nail this one. You'd be surprised how many spelling
variations you get on Yahoo. Anyway it's something like "Same Auld Lang Syne". Artist Dan Fogelberg.

19..Jeff Foxbury is the redneck-tease, according to Meyers and the 2 V's.

20..OK for Mr006's BOZO. I was thinking of lamebrain. VAUC, is a nit worth half of a wit?

21..P.C. Wren, and "no", you get no yuks here for birdbrain.

22..Another true '70's song that introduces us to Buddhist perspective. Chap & Meyers.

23..Oz turns into a werewolf. I was looking for you to provide Lon Chaney Jr. Oh, how foolish of me!

24..Good for rbny (and it wasn't even an opera question)--amulet.

25..Chap may be announcing that she reads, as well as listens to music. Elton John.

You score merely 18 of 25. Yegads that is 72? Clearly I must keep doing this.

25. Just happened to hear something about it on tv or radio in the past week so it was fresh in my mind.

18. You had me second guessing myself there on the spelling. So I went into the bowels of my basement, to the vinyl archives and dug out "The Innocent Age" album. It is, in fact, "Same Old Lang Syne". The story in the song actually happened, and was one of Dan's all time favorite songs.

Here is the back cover of the album with the song listings:
