24...In the last months of WW2, dad was drafted and doing basic in the Carolinas. Left behind in Jersey were mom and 2 little tykes, who could not maintain their apartment and moved in with grandma & grandpa. The grandparents freed up mom, so she got her bags and got her reservation, singing SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY off & on during the train ride to spend some hubby time. Thereafter it was always her
favorite tune. Only God knows how many train, bus & car rides that 1945 song accompanied.

To be honest, I was fumbling with all the lyrics. Could not remember anything. It even took me a while to remember that particular song title, so I started with song titles that included names, then thought that Reach Out might answer the question you posed.
