I was kinda hoping, somehow, some way, he'd end up back in Storrs, CT... but I knew better... plus he's in the show now... NFL.. congrats to him... wish him nothing but the best...

Good move for TR.

While I know it is standard MO in college athletics, but it is kind of crappy to announce you are leaving for another job as soon as you get all of the faxed LOI in your hands. I am sure he had this job lined up for a couple of weeks and they did not let any of the recruits know he was leaving. Sucks for the kids who committed to Miami because of TR. This isn't a knock on TR, because this is standard these days...just commenting on how shady college recruiting can be and how the kids get screwed a lot in the NCAA recruiting world.

Great move for him and one that was not unexpected when Jedd Fisch was hired by Jacksonville. He's been on one heck of a career track and it couldn't happen for a nicer guy.
