Hey all, just wanted to share, the TBT has started & it’s got some interesting wrinkles to it. (Ex: the ending of games)

Bored today & wanted to look through the teams, I’ve highlighted some interesting players below.

Dan Hurley coached at URI
Langevine
EC Matthews
Jared Terrell

Interesting players
Diamond Stone (oddly enough playing for the Marquette alumni team)
Gary McGhee
Jarron Cumberland
Michael Beasley
Mike Daum
Mustapha Heron

UConn Alum
Boat is on 1 seed Team Heartfire. I’ll definitely tune in, even if just to watch him play live
Sidney Wilson- Brooklyn Vultures

Sorry, TBT = ?

The Basketball Tournament.

Basically a NCAA-tourney-esque thing that ESPN does, good number of former college (and NBA) players team up.

Turned it on the other day for S's and G's and Boat was playing for someone.

I tuned in last night and IMO it was unwatchable because of the narrative of the game on the PA system competing with the play-by-play but the ESPN announcers, and the fact that the quality of the play was really not that great.

I love this tournament. The basketball itself gets a little better as teams are eliminated, and the competition is pretty intense once they get closer to the money. It’s always fun, to me, to come across some guys I haven’t thought of in a while to see what they are up to.
