Because most other programs were penalized for one of the three violations Syracuse committed. This is one area where it shows espn has too many Syracuse grads. They are always willing to amplify the whining. As for the falling to monitor...yeah no one else has been charged with that.

Jimmy may not have known about some booster cash deals, but the failed drug tests are school administered tests and I am sure coaches are informed.

The NCAA bent over backwards for the program. I mean, technically they could have (should have) had their loan championship vacated, and they got to choose which team was going to be banned from the tourney.

Ah man, the "loan championship" would have been the perfect thing to call it if it had gotten vacated! Now I'm even more pissed at the NCAA for not having the gumption to make that happen.

Yep, out of alignment, if those violations were found at UConn, UConn would be reduced to a NCAA III team. Boehiem is just trying to protect his own legacy and all of his Alumni in Bristol are trying to help with that story.

Yeah, that one is kind of silly. I believe teams can't ignore their own drug policy, but they are not required to have a drug policy.
