I drifted away from NFL watching about the time Fran Tarkenton drifted away from the NY Giants, but I have always since been in a room with other folks, usually wasting money on squares on a score board an admiring clever or funny commercials. This year will be the first that I don't watch the festivities. I suspect there will be YouTube compilations of the Ads. I hope so. For $4.5 million for 1/2 minute they should be roll around laughing brilliant.
I think I recall that some long time sponsors have bowed out. No drama, just spending their $ elsewhere.
