Very terrible report, off by 500k. The Jackson Hole Fed meeting suggested that tapering was inevitable.

We'll see
Inevitable, yes. The question is how soon and how gently.

White collar vice blue collar recovery.
Slight tweek, all blue collar workers are not struggling and many are reaping huge revenues. A few too many face-to-face service workers are struggling, particularly those unwilling to return or incapable of returning to work, are struggling. By contrast, some manufacturing workers, trades men/women, farmers (not in drought/fire stricken states), etc are experiencing their best success in many years. For example, building renovations scheduled in to next year even before Henri and Ida. Now, expecting further delays.

Glad I started the chainlink conversation a while back!!! What does everyone think about Alchemy Pay, very low market cap (300 million) but already on coin base. You can eventually download a on-phone credit card payment system that uses your crypto, is currently working with binance, google pay and PayPal to bring its services to these networks as well as many more.

There are a lot of wallet choices out there so if you invest- go in slowly on a position. Wallets sound exciting- but there will be hundreds of choices at some point including all the big boys ( visa, PayPal even some banks). While crypto people may choose a less centralized wallet- many people simply will not care. All wallets are headed for our phone- my backwards state GA just announced we are going to be able to put our driver's license on our phone soon- removing the last reason for me to carry a physical wallet.

I've got some stuff at Coinbase. I've got some in a Coinbase Wallet on my phone. I've got BTC in an offline hard wallet Trezor. Sooner or later they may need to improve security for soft wallets, because offline kills utility. I'd be interested in options for both trading and storing that are better than Coinbase. The trading platform should be a wallet, ideally. Instead Coinbase to Coinbase transfers still cost something.

I finally ponied up and bought some chain link yesterday at around $27. For you guys who are more involved and knowledgeable about crypto, how high do you think LINK will go in the next 1-2 years? Predictions seem to be all over the map which I guess is not surprising. Most of my crypto investments are in ETH

GEVO - Renewable fuel company up ~42% earlier after CVX-GEVO aviation fuel partnership announced. GEVO now ~36% up. Not selling either.

For any that are into REITs
VICI is below 30.
Gambling REIT that is going to merge with MGP or real estate side of MGM casino properties.
new merge’d REIT will own nearly all of vegas strip and other regionals by MGM including Springfield that they off loaded cheap.
Good FFO and recently increased dividend like 9+%

I have MGP, so I’ll get 1.33 of VICI once merged, but maybe I’ll start a VICI position if it dips further.

I bought the dip on ABML $1.35, moderate position, will tuck it away for when it makes another run to $4.00.

Mark Cuban and Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of chainlink, now officially sit on the board of dClimate, the first decentralized network for climate data, forecasts, and models.

This has not been a good day in the market for me. Bloodbath. Hoping for a bounce tomorrow.

You should have sold months ago or shorted. I had a great day bought the SPXU and the FAZ last summer and am well into profits already, holding for the slow slide or the crash. The SPXU shorts the S&P 500 and the FAZ shorts the Russell 2000. This market has basically gone straight up since 2009. It’s so overbought, you can’t find decent companies for less than $100 a share. If there is a bounce tomorrow it will be short covering. Lol
