JNJ: Overreaction? Reportedly, may have impacted six (6) females b/tw 18-48 years old. After 7 million JNJ SARS-2 innoculations, six (6) potentially related albeit unconfirmed clotting issues. Tragic for 1 family, yet only 1 death. Interestingly, similar clotting concerns exist with females using contraceptives. Additionally, it's unclear whether the purported JNJ clotting risk even matches general risks of other SARS-2 vaccines.

Nonetheless appropriate CDC, FDA and JNJ caution. Anecdotal, yet my wife in the age range experienced no significant issues. Almost sold some MRNA yet resisted on resulting spike, but added more JNJ to LT retirement hold. SARS-2 or not, the US and average global population's not getting younger.

Yeah but it is also on pause in Europe. The issue is the same as the Aztra Zeneca vaccine. So that ups the numbers affected (which are probably under-reported). Lots of speculation, including (a) it seems to affect younger women (b) birth control pills have some issues too may lead to: (c) perhaps the combination is contra-indicated. They are chasing it down, so the pause makes sense while they do.

Yup, "appropriate caution" as specifically noted in prior post. 6 youngish women / Seven million total JNJ inoculations in the US ==> Identify if any or rule out any direct relationship, refrain from inoculating any confirmed demographic, potentially re-instate EUA for far larger remainder of population. Yup, the pause makes sense.

unless it's sarcasm, the j+j pause does not make sense, mostly due to unnecessary discomfort it can cause for some who have already taken it. leaving that aside, you may enjoy this narrative for the current equity market.
How Bill Hwang of Archegos Capital Lost $20 Billion in Two Days - Bloomberg
and no, it's not 'contained' yet.

Reasonable clinical review, not the least bit sarcastic. However, some people potentially now experiencing what's termed as unnecessary discomfort were likely among many who opted out of MRNA and PFE with their own possible concerns. What will be interesting to learn is how many 18-48 year olds on the pill have entirely ignored reportedly similar clotting side affect notices on their contraceptive packaging.
Yup, it's not as if Archegos, Melvin, and other institutional investors (possibly even including Wood) and CS, NMR and other PBs have been alone in massive bets of varied risk and may still be exposed to various degrees. Not touching the article's reference to Hwang's cited religious investment inspirations. Upcoming weeks-months may be interesting. Ideally, not too harshly for day traders and LT investors alike and hopefully favorably overall. Reasonably hedged (USD; US & global markets) and less USD-dependent than many Yanks, I sure hope some puts go unexercised.

If you don’t have even a small % in crypto you are simply missing out.
Took me a while to get involved but so glad I took your advice last summer and bought $LINK. Have added 5 others along the way and I’m really excited about the future. Thanks again, I owe you a DM soon.

I am having an absolutely great day today. Hope the rest of you are too.
Congrats.

I'm down 3.5% today overall. ABML, HQGE, MVIS, NNDM, PLUG, RIDE, UAVS, WKHS all doggin' it. Almost everything in my portfolio is in the red.

At least all of my crypto has covered my SENS losses :)

Thought I was a genius for buying 20,000 doge after I missed the first runup.

Doge to the moon let’s goooooo. Started buying at .004. This is absurd.

I have a lot of Doge too and am so conflicted at when to sell at this point. It seems illogical at every bump up but I cant figure out when to sell at this point. Watching it hit about 20 cents today was crazy but it barely dipped after. Whats the end game?

Honestly, I’m in for such a small investment I don’t care if it goes to zero. It’s worth the ride. Entertainment bucks. Remember when people lost their mind when Bitcoin hit $1000? And then again at $10,000? And then again at $20,000? Etc etc. If my investment can pay off my student loans or my mortgage or something I’ll probably sell. I don’t care about money that much. You?

Strictly a pump and dump coin. Should get your initial investment out and let the rest be a moon bag.

Doge is a culture coin. There is no value to it except that people have chose it as the coin to pump- crypto’s GameStop. But for that reason it is a redistribution of wealth in people’s minds. Musk wants to see $1 Doge and he just might. Question is how easy will it be to sell down the road.
I’d take my money out - but it cost me almost nothing so I’m kinda like wtf - let’s see what happens over the next few years.

I bought 43k shares of Doge for $500 bucks a few months ago just fooling around. It’s not funny anymore.

I bought 100k tokens at .04 cents. I cashed out some at .44 today just because I felt it was the fiscally responsible thing haha. Pretty amazing returns. If only Robinhood wasnt glitching on all the Doge stuff right now too.

I bought it at just under .012. I kick myself for not doing more but I never expected this, which is always the way. I’m just leaving it alone I’ve decided. I’m thinking of pulling all my other stuff off RH just so I don’t see it when I look at other stuff. Good for you btw, $4k was risky for sure.
