Espn is terrible. Ruined sports on many levels. Shame, they actually brought college sports up. But they're now. Unwatchable apart from a few guys, bilas being the obvious one. But he gets money from legal work... So is not dependent on being an idiot that gets a lot of tweets or whatever (though he's a twitter monster on his terms).

Good news is rival networks are finally putting together decent sports channels to even things out... Bought time. Espn has been making the news instead of reporting it for far too long.

Espn also played a big role in bringing uconn up... But they then played a huge role behind the scenes in bringing us down... IMO anyway

You can't watch them for analysis. A large demographic loves skips inflammatory/unprecedented comments about players, something he does obviously to garner attention. Steven a isn't an idiot he's just doing what espn told him to do in order to stay on tv. if I have an off day I peruse the espn networks for sheer comedy, I'm not trying to be informed by either.

Does anyone outside of college kids watch it? It's on during the day, if either of those bumbling idiots were any good they put them on in the big boy hours, like at night, when people who advertisers care about are watching

Because the show is straight up garbage, just like most day-time television. They try to make a controversy out of anything just for the sake of arguing, no real ANALYSIS, purely garbage entertainment.
