Just saw the pregame scrum and coin toss. Announcers said that Franklin was coach in waiting at MD before Edsall was hired (didn't know that), and that lots of PA players are on MD team and vice versa. Then at coin toss, MD players refuse to shake hands with PSU. Hate that.

It's all gamesmanship, but I'm surprised "heavy handed" Edsalls would tolerate that approach........

Randy apologized after the game. He was clearly not pleased with it and did not sanction it

In fairness franklin was a total in the preseason saying he considered Maryland instate and that they might as well shut umd football down...

I dont remember the shut down UMD part, but def remember the first part. Nice bounce back from UMD/Edsall. They got drilled by OSU and Wisconsin but went on the road and pulled it out especially after that opener during the coin toss. They had an edge. Good for them.
