I had to include this fellow with his sister because of his sweet string tone. Here playing a not often played Sonatina.

Here's a band that the early R & R vocal groups copied extensively. You know, the real "good, old fashioned rock and roll" that so many refer to but don't seem to really know what it is.

And of course these fellows who the early rock and roll vocal groups idolized. Two of their members were cousins. They are known of course by the tall lead singer with the distinctive voice that once heard is never forgotten. For me, it's that recitation in the middle. Still copied today.

She uses those pipes in the music video that serves as the theme song for College Football Gameday. She plays and sings with Big and Rich.

Didn't know about either of those. I know she's collaborated w/ Lindsey Sterling.

The most likely siblings to get in a fist fight on stage during a concert. Liam and Noel famously did not get along together.

You beat me to it. I saw him a few years ago doing the Brahms Concerto from the third row, probably not more than 30 feet from him. He's a guy who LOVES what he does. I'd love to have a beer with him.

I've heard his Brahms and the concerto seems to suit his personality and string tone. I'd love to see/hear him do the Mendelssohn. I'm on this Kyng-Wha Chung kick now and her older recordings. She's just so lithe and note perfect. She seems to bring out the underscore of pieces. Her doing Ravel's Tzigane is a revelation.
