Not that there's anything wrong with it. I really never got into American Idol. I watch a few minutes of The Voice now and then. Simon was such a jerk, and that show foisted Sanjaya and William Hung on the American public--unforgivable!

In one of the greatest ironies of all time, I swear the movie American Dreamz, which featured a talentless contestant of Middle Esatern decent, came out before Sanjaya appeared on American Idol. Which means they were ripping off a movie that was mercilessly spoofing them. So weird. Life imitating art imitating life, or something like that.
