I bought a new Snowblower---the Nature Gods look to see if I'm prepared--then they don't bring snow.

Now than I am living in sunny Florida five years removed from my previous abode in Somers CT, I am beginning to miss the snow and the below zero weather with 30 MPH winds. I really miss shoveling the driveway at 10 below zero.

There's nothing more peaceful than stepping outside while the snow is falling. Everything is quiet and it always felt like everything was good with the world.

Out here in LA, the closest I get to a snowstorm is standing near someone with a head full of dandruff...

For the first time I can remember, I have not watched the news on TV for the last 3 days. These newscasters and weather people drive me crazy. A little cold, or a little snow, and the world is COMING TO AN END............"bitter, brutal, bundle up....schools will be closed, warming shelters will be open, driving will be dangerous, be aware of frostbite, be sure you know where your shovel is, the morning commute and bus stop will not be pleasant.....etc...." and on and on!
