I don't think that Wichita makes any sense for the American nor do I think the American makes any sense for Wichita.

It just increases everyone's travel budget without any return.

Provided UConn is in the Big Ten, what does it matter?

I couldn't help but notice looking at the map of the AAC schools when ESPN flashed it during the game:

This is really a Southeast USA conference (besides UConn, Temple and I guess Cincy). We need to get out of it and into another conference.

Add BYU and Army, football only;

WEST:

BYU, Houston, SMU, Tulsa, Cincy, Memphis, Tulane

EAST:

UConn, Army, Navy, Temple, ECU, UCF, USF

11 teams for men's/women's hoops, no divisions.
