Yes. I loved the series and thought it was one of the best I have seen in the last 15 years or so

It gets better and more intense. Not the Wire but is very good

The Wire is in a class by itself. If you compare to the Wire, you will likely be disappointed.

The Shield is a very good series though.

The Shield is my #2 show of all time (absolutely awesome)......but watch out, it's one of those shows where you lose sleep, bc your always saying "oh I can watch another episode b4 I sleep" & ya end up cursing yourself the following morning......like clockwork

I'm not sure there were any real "good guys" in that series. Lem, Julian and Claudette would qualify as such I guess.

That season had more twists and turns than an ice cream come... The lawyer in the clubhouse thing was genius.
