Even within the SEC, there is a hierarchy of teams with some schools focusing on winning at football no matter what and other schools that try periodically to retain some moral values from time to time.

In this case, a very good DL from Goergia was kicked-off his team after his redshirt Freshman year because he is facing faces two felony counts of aggravated assault in Athens. So, even with pending charges and possible jail time, he's off to play for the Tide.
