On Valentine's Day, my wife and I are spending the night near UConn and attending the Georgetown game (hit me up if you've got tickets to spare!).

It's my first time on campus in two years and a few more for her. Part of our trip will be looking for antique faucets for our home after the sink in the only bathroom in our 1890s home hit the fritz.

Any recommendations for salvage yards or other spots that might have a selective of antique/vintage facuets at reasonable prices?

We're driving up from Norwalk, so willing to go anywhere on the way on our drive, or even a bit out of the way from the drive or campus. I've seen a couple examples on google, but would love recs from the 'yard.

No personal knowledge, @Hey Adrien, but did find this on an Internet Search.

The area around Sturbridge Mass is a hotbed for that stuff. However, I think you’ll have to try a bit harder in the winter than you would in Summer or Fall when they have huge flea markets full of old household items.

I’m not sure if they have indoor sales this time of year. There was a show on for years called Flea Market Flip and they were in that area for most episodes. It’s not far from Storrs, but you’ll need to research what’s open to decide if it’s worth the trip. We stayed at an Airbnb in the area a while back and there was even a guide in the house for all the flea markets and antique shops nearby. It’s a known thing I guess.
