Long before BG at Baylor, they were the BeeGees.

They had talent but not long lifespans:

Maurice died at 53

Robin died at 62

Younger brother Andy died at 30.

Barry is still alive at 65.

I guess he's no longer "Staying Alive."

I loved the Bee Gees in my younger years. My favorite was "How Deep is Your Love?"

<<<Grooving to 'Night Fever' as I type.

Beyond their Disco stuff (which was great as well), the Gibbs were tremendously talented and wrote great music in a variety of genres. RIP, Robin...

Enormously talented group of brothers. While their influence and skill shined brightly in the disco era, I believe their best work came earlier. And those were the songs that featured Robin's sensitive voice on lead. I enjoyed watching him live, cupping his ear as he sang.....

...otherwise he'd lose the key...or just loved the sound of his own voice.
