Safe bet: Nothing relating to pursuit of increased academic challenge, but why has Tarrant actually transferred twice and how does previously transferring from Tulane eliminate any requirement to sit out a year? Might it be related to Bama hiring Avery Johnson?

Because he continued to take classes while he was sitting out, and then was able to graduate with a year of eligibility left. That's how grad transfers work.

Marshall is actually reclassifying to '16. Memphis has one open scholarship.

Memphis has 1 more scholarship possibly 2 if Chris Hawkins transfer. He has been plagued by injuries throughout his career. Nick Marshall could possibly come back to the 2015 class if he makes the score on the ACT. Ideally Memphis would like to bring in Nick Marshall and Marcus Lovett or Rasheed Suliamon.
