No, this isn't a thread to say Bradley did legitimately win the fight, Pacquiao did win. This is just to touch on a point that both Burnbros and I made on the night of the fight that HBO's broadcasting team, mainly Jim Lampley, did a pretty big disservice to fight fans and casual fans with the way they called the fight, and this has been an ongoing issue with Lampley for years. He favors certain fighters and is biased against others and will exaggerate punches that don't land, give credit to punches that don't land at all, or actually give the credit to the boxer on the wrong end of exchanges(like he did during Mayweather vs Ortiz). I'm glad someone took the time to put this together, next time he does a "Fight Game" show, he should touch on his own deficiencies as a broadcaster.

I've always said that no one sees less of a fight than Lampley. I'm not sure if it's just where he's located when he calls a fight or if he just has so little feel for the game that it skews what he thinks he sees, but he has become a brutally bad announcer.

Lampley and Lederman are past their time to go. The cards that Lampley doesn't make it to are usually far more evenly called.

Saw the fight yesterday for the first time and even though I wanted Bradley to win this decision was crazy. At best it was 10 rds. to 2 and that's a reach. Don't know what the judges were watching and they should not ever score another fight.

Wow, I feel guilty now that I was so outraged by the decision. The judges got lambasted for their call, but they got it right and had the guts to say so. HBO should fire the entire broadcast crew immediately.

I feel like the judges called this fight this way just so that people could talk about boxing.

Boxing is slowly fading out of the sports picture. With all of the concussion protection being done in other sports (especially the NFL) combined with MMA, boxing will soon be irrelivant.

Can't help but feel like this decision was made so that boxing could stay relevant... bad press is still press, right?

don't use this vid to judge who won, the guy who made it thinks Pac won, as do I, the vid is just to show how biased the HBO crew was in calling the fight.

Woah, slow down. Everybody at ringside thought Pacman killed him.

there is no question manny won the fight but the video makes a great and valid point of the biased commentators on hbo. never been a lampley fan as ive always thought he was biasly over the top in his calling of fights.

That video was great. I thought the fight was about 8-4 Manny. But as I said awhile ago HBO crew is hard to listen too when calling Manny fights.

Also said in the first thread the rematch won't happen and it won't.
