OT: Red Sox

Chavis will be interesting when Pedroia gets healthy.

I’d love Nunez to stay hot so they can at least move him and maybe even get something for him. Even if it’s international bonus money and to clear some salary away from the super tax level.

That JBJ catch just now.

!!!

Great catch.

His d hasn’t been good so far this year according to advanced metrics, so it’s nice to see him make a play like that and basically win the game

Most important takeaway from the game last night is Sale going 8 with 14Ks (immaculate 7th), giving up a run & 3 hits.

Well, he may be even better tonight with 17 K's through 7. The HR pitch was a mess- low 90's right in middle of the plate but he is close to untouchable.

Really? Sweet. Watching the Bruins off my DVR at the moment. I'll catch the highlights a little later.

Asa Yankees fan, I obviously have issues with Papi on the field; but, off, I hold no ill will and respect him for a lot of things he has done for the children of Boston and for people from his home county in the DR. Thus, this is an absolute nightmare. I wish him a speedy and full recovery.

Red Sox pitching making Whit Merrifield look like Ted Williams. Good work fellas.

Sale was top 3 in Ks and top 10 in whip before that beat down in NY.

I didn’t like the extension, but there’s at least signs of life in his season.

Porcello...Jesus. What a dumpster fire this year

So, safe to call the Cashner pick up an unmitigated disaster?

I am extremely biased against pitchers who refuse to throw strikes and walk a ton off batters.
