OT: Queen live on Palladia

Was home and between stuff had Palladia on and caught ome Queen live from 1981. Freakin'' phenomenal and Freddie Mercury is as good a live performer as anyone.

Saw that show last week. What struck me was what the 4 of them could do on stage with no lasers, no crazy light shows, no 100' screens.....just guitar, bass, drums, and Mercury's incredible voice and occasional piano playing....loved the reworking of "we will rock you"...

My first favorite band.

They wrote so many amazing songs that are still anthems throughout the world.

I haven't been to many concerts, but Queen and Paul Rodgers was by far the best one I've ever been to. I can only imagine how much better it would've been seeing Freddie perform with the guys.
