I am not 100% sure about this, but I do not believe there is an all-inclusive hotel operating in the Island at the moment. That does not mean that there are no "all-inclusive like" offers from some of the larger hotels.

El Conquistador would be a great option, as well as the W in Vieques.

I just looked it up and you are right , they do not offer any all inclusives,as far as food, except for a buffet breakfast. It is a beautiful place and quite a distance from San Juan. I really like Puerto Rico.

Thanks the conquistador is booked solid....is it hard to get to Vieques? I'm only going to be there 3 nights

I thought PR Husky was in the Public Relations business.

Not hard at all; multiple ferries daily from Fajardo, and you can also fly from San Juan and Ceiba to Vieques.

My most important requirement. That's all you need, should last you till about 6pm, with a couple pieces of fruit to go. One meal a day is how my cheap arse rolls, with or without the Mrs..

Old San Juan is the joint. Just don't wander off into the "perla".lol.

If you want calm and relaxing look into the west coast/Isabella side. Much quieter and laid back. I stayed in a condo/villa so don't know about hotels. From. NY, you can fly right into Aguadilla, Ramey Military base via jet blue.

Just booked my ticket and I'm looking for a place to stay. Love to be close to other UCONN fans. Thinking of taking taxies everywhere (except for a rain forest day) so I can be in the mix when we are not playing. Just reaching out to see if other Boneyarders have made plans yet?

If you want to be in San Juan the El San Juan is fun. I spent Easter with my kids there and had fun. We did easter Mass in their theatre and did pretty well in blackjack in the casino. Trips into Old San Juan were easy and fun. If you want to be outside San Juan St Regis Bahia was great. Bring $$$. Good golf course.
Love Puerto Rico best of all the islands IMHO

How was the W on Vieques? Want to try that. I used to go to PR for work. Puerto Rico gave great tax breaks to pharmaceuticals in the 70's and we had 3 plants and a big presence in Puerto Rico. I am retired now but hear the tax breaks are going away (another Obama mess??) and I also see pharma companies (including mine) closing operations in Puerto Rico. I imagine that won't be good for economy but maybe will result in tourist opportunities in the near term. Long term who knows. Puerto Rico is still a major entry point for drugs from South America into the US. I do love Puerto Rico though, especially the people I have met and worked with over the years. Still thinking of buying a property there.

If you end up going to Puerto Rico, you have to hit up a Taco Maker if you can find one. They're the best taco chain on the planet.

And if you see some guy selling chilled pineapple on the side of the road go for it?

I turn into the world's biggest if I don't eat regularly.
