Four years with Gomes and not ONE NCAA win. That's hard to do!!!!!:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(But you beat us at Gampel and we won #4 after.

You came to a UConn board to fish for compliments. I've always been complimentary of Providence but you are just a clown. We're 4-0 in championship games the past 16 years, not even sure if you guys have won a single tournament game in that time frame, know your audience and know your place.
That is complete BS. For my part I simply responded to a back handed compliment about being a mid major and the attacks began to flow. The hate runs deep with this crowd. I'll be sure to only respond when we are in our correct spot beneath the Huskies because this crowd is just too thin skinned for anything else.

The folks constantly getting into d*** measuring contests with PC sound pretty lame and insecure. JMO.

True enough, but no more insecure than the PC fan who constantly appears on another team's board looking for validation and then gets pissy when people don't give him the ball washing he comes here for.

I think there are some PC fans that fall into that category. Not sure if @FriarJ is that guy though. Seems like he was just having some back and forth with matrim who was clearly giving him some (possibly good natured) ribbing. I'll let him defend himself, though.

Nobody's opinion is more or less valid than mine in regards to what programs to dislike. I kind of scratch my head, though, when I hear posters ITT calling them their least favorite college basketball program.

University of Miami (TheU) head coach Jim Larranaga comes in @ #25 in career pts at Providence College with 1258 career points. Billy Donovan another great coach finished @ #21. Two very good players who became great coaches.

.-.
kenpom has providence at 35, what gives? has to do with the 'luck rating' i'm assuming.

Providence was 200/1 to win it all right before beating Butler at a Vegas casino. Some potential value there. The problem is I still can't see them making a Final4 run. Maybe I will regret not playing that? Just wasn't quite feeling it.

Nothing against you FJ but I have been following UConn MBB since the mid 60's and even back then, PC fans were jerks.
Again, nothing against you, but to ant PC fan who ventures here: don't let the door hit you in the ass as you leave this site

No, no, don't go! What will we do without trolls from other fanbases?

Dunn missing the better part of three games with a virus definitely contributes to that ranking, IMO. They also started off slow (only beat a bad Illinois team by one, struggled with NJIT).

From the Evansville game forward, when they've been at full strength, they've played at a top ten level.
