The last big golf event of the year at Jack's place...Muirfield Village near Columbus Ohio.
USA versus the International team. Golf Channel has wall-to-wall coverage starting today at noon....thru Sunday. It doesn't have nearly the edge of the Ryder Cup....USA has dominated.

A special rookie for our team: It's quite common for teens to excel on the LPGA tour...Lydia Ko being the latest example of that. On the guy-side youth doesn't fare as well. However PGA ROY...at 20...Jordan Spieth is on the team as a captain's pick. He won this year [think he was 19 at that time]...youngest winner in decades....incredibly consistent throughout the season....has his peers raving about his game and maturity. Best in the world at 20 and under?

Yes, he was 19 when he won. Last time that was done on the tour was around 1930. Slightly easier competition then. Definitely the best 20 and under player. In fact, he's ranked #21 in the world. I think there's only one other player of his age in the top 50 - the Italian Masanerro (sp?).
