Ot: prayer request

Last week my great-uncle and aunt's house caught fire. Thankfully it was discovered in time so it didn't completely burn down, but parts of the house have suffered significant damage and they are currently living in a hotel. On top of all this they can't find one of their cats. Prayers would be appreciated.

Some years ago one of my wife's friends had her family home hit by lightning; her friend's father was born there IIRC and still lives there (he's 80) - so does my wife's friend and her husband. The resulting fire and damage had them living in hotels for quite some time, although eventually the home was repaired. I still remember her friend's sense of desolation at the destruction of many personal possessions.

So I am sure your great aunt and uncle are struggling to come to grips. Best wishes to them.
