Newsflash. NIL Is the same for everybody. Some leagues pay a lot more than others. The best coaches usually win. Nobody said any of this was easy. But it's far from pure luck. What was your point again?

Over 100 teams haven't won a national championship in the last 25 years. Plenty of those never did. Maybe they should all fold up their tents hecause what's the point. Same in basketball.

And we're going to "dilute" our basketball program by being in a league that pays a ton more and creates better opportunities in almost in all sports. The bag gets you legit chance at playoffs, especially if goes up to 16 or more. Then it comes down to talent/coaching and a bit of luck.

The divide between P-Conf. and everyone else gets wider every year. Stick with smaller teams / league + you will be left behind. Look at what happened to the Ivy League. For 100 years they were national powers in most sports. They decided to go small + are now mostly irrelevant in the world of big time athletics.
