But the Big 12 has the best media deal currently. And if money and NIL rule all, they're not in bad shape

But the only B12 teams they respect are leaving this year. Next year this would be two SEC and 2 B10 programs.

5 of the 6 teams under consideration are from next year's SEC/Big Ten. They are the P2 and will get 6 playoff spots next season at minimum. The B12/ACC are now second tier. There will only be 1 or 2 relevant programs in each going forward. The G5 may as well be Division 1AA.

The Top 10 will have 8 P2 teams consistently. Today they have 12 of the top 13. The ACC and B12 are going to follow the P12 into irrelevance. Their broadcast money is going to dry up next cycle.

It's really incredible how schools like Vandy and Northwestern lucked into their situations, while programs that have actually won something are left out in the cold.

That’s what’s going to happen and it’s awful. But there’s not much that can be done to stop it or reverse it.
