Most of our "associates" here on the WBB BY forum root for, and are fans of, UConn WBB. Some are not, but you are welcome guests and therefore you can play also. So here is what you have to fess up to: Besides Geno's team (if applicable), whom specifically do you follow/watch/root for -- in order!

Okay, okay, I'll go first.

1) UConn WBB
1) N. Y. Mets
3) WNBA (not a team per se, but all of our former UConn women) (hate that Seattle is 3 times zones away)
4) Notre Dame ...football, that is (been following them since I was kid) (Rudy is one of my favorite movies:D)
5) NCAA women's softball (last 4/5 years, just the finals though. I'm addicted, it's women on the diamond at the highest level - even get Holly Rowe for some games)

Anyone else?

Based on your use of the word "The" before all the names, I'd say you're from Ohio!;)

Tennessee, I know it's sick but I'm getting old I miss the competition and the rivalry. As much as I hated the Vols I respected them and Pat for their competitive team basketball. Been really really great to be a UCONN Fan for so many years, we are living a dream that is bigger than anything anyone of us could have ever imagined. I remember our first game against Tennessee and beating them and jumping up and down like a maniac and thinking how mush I cared for and appreciated what that team did against all odds beating that great Dynasty Tennessee. The players became family, we cared about those kids, learned about their lives, in a odd or not so odd way felt like they were members of our own families. Also knew UT players and their lives, Semeka became Boo against us, Tamika Catchings played like a warrior, C Holdsclaw was a superstar and from another team.

Feeling nostalgic and to be honest this election has pinched my last nerve.

Anyone else?

1. I'm a UConn fanatic. I love the huskies. I watch every game. I get SNY in my Television package here in So Cal, so I'm covered. The UConn women play basketball the way it is supposed to be played.
2. I don't follow MLB any more. I followed the Dodgers 1958-1970. I lost my passion for MLB when they went on strike on August 12, 1994 and resulted in the remainder of that season being cancelled, including the postseason, and left ALL the fans hanging in the wind. Other than to take my now deceased father -in-law to a Dodger game once or twice a year, I've never returned. I don't watch it TV either.
3. I love the WNBA. I follow the Sparks (attend 8-10 games a season), the Liberty, I still follow Kiah, The Stars and the Storm (Mo & Stewie). I subscribe to WNBA league pass every years so that I can watch their games.
4. USC (Trojans) football. Been a fan since the mid 60's. My old high school is less than two miles from the USC campus. They were the local college team. I try an attend at least one game a year. Love those Trojan tailgate parties.
5. I like women's softball. I watched my granddaughters play softball from 8U through high school. I tried to never miss a game. Those were some real good times.

4. Chelsea FC
5. PGA (esp. Spieth)
6. Chicago Cubs
7. Notre Dame football
8. Chicago Bulls

11. LPGA (esp. Ko)
12. Horse racing (mostly the Triple Crown and prep races, though I try to get out to Arlington Park at least once per year)
13. Tennis (esp. Federer)

There are probably a bunch more sports/teams that I like to catch occasionally and am forgetting. And I watch more pro wrestling than any of the above, but I decided to only put proper sports on my list.

So, in regards to #9, you listened to Lindsey Nelson, either on the live or the edited shows on Sunday morning. (Go to early service, clean out bakery, come home and listen to Lindsey. Life was much simpler then! :) )

As an ND alum and club sport player, a lot come from that vein, but so do "lifelong associations" and also being involved with (my) kids' sports.

1) Certain ND sports
- Women's Basketball (from club all the way to now)
- Men's Lacrosse (played club back in the day)
- Women's Lacrosse (both daughters played club and high school)
- Women's Soccer (particularly when Randy Waldrum was coach. Charismatic leader.)
- Men's Soccer (Bobby Clarke IS the boss, not mention a Scot and a fine coach and leader)
- ND Football (but more to see classmates at games these days)
2) The New York Football Giants
3) The New York Yankees (in-person or on radio)
4) Green Bay Packers (my dad knew Lombardi at Fordham)
5) US Men's and Women's National Soccer Teams
6) Volleyball Championships at Collegiate, Pro, National Team Levels

Non-Rooting
- Play hoops, beach volleyball:cool:
- Grilling
- Ice Cream, Chocolate Chips
- Sampling various beers across this fine continent.:D
