OT-OT: 49ers TE Vernon Davis calls on NFL to outlaw tackling by penis

Rams safety T.J. McDonald grabbed Davis by his manhood and wouldn't release it on a tackle during the 49ers' 23-13 victory on Sunday, which led to the wide receiver's impassioned plea on Twitter.

I remember a conversation on Mike & Mike a few years back where Golic revealed that most NFL players do not wear cups -- just jock straps. Apparently the rigid material results in even more uncomfortable incidents than the occasional direct hit.
