What a bizarre legacy to have when you are as good as he is. (of course, the other side are the Italians - "Play Acting Center" ) This will be a fun sidebar.
Liverpool are my favorite team. They will have to get rid of him now if he doesn't get a permanent ban from the sport. What is that definition of insanity again? Something about repeating an act and expecting a different result? He is obviously insane. Magical player and stark raving mad person. They will never be able to compensate for losing him. First Gerard slips against Chelsea and we lose the title. Now this. What else can possibly top this?
He will not get a lifetime ban. I could see FIFA, Liverpool and FA coming to some agreement on a more enduring suspension, but he won't be banned for life.
If you haven't read this yet, then you should.

Wright Thompson has written some really really good stuff over the years. I usually enjoy his pieces.
I did just look it up and the maximum penalty FIFA is allowed to impose is 24 match, 2 year ban.
BTW, Suarez's post match reaction is priceless: "Stuff happens on the pitch".
That is correct. If the FA wanted to do anything additional it would be their own call.I could be wrong, but I was listening SiriusFC and someone said that any FIFA suspension would just apply to international play.

Thanks! One Liverpool fan called in, he was like "he's a deranged maniac, but he is OUR deranged maniac!". LOL
I can't argue with that. I confess, I really enjoy watching him play. And my morbid dark side now wants to see if he'll bite a guy for a 4th time...
Statistically, you are more likely to be bitten by Suarez if you are playing against his team than bitten by a shark if you are swimming in the ocean.
