Thought it was a feel good story at first too but if you read earlier news stories on this the UT marketing AD who sent the initial care package to the Florida school ended his statement buy saying something along the lines of the kid's school is in rival SEC territory so it's a positive all around. Your news link appears to reveal that UT has now upped the game to being a chance to sell T shirts for charity. I have no issues with that but am 100% convinced the idea came from the UT AD Marketing department as a national PR move.
