This was the regular season championship. The AAC tourney starts on 11/8, and the NCAA tourney starts a couple of weeks after that...

I think Field Hockey formally won their regular season title today as well.

That's not clear to me. The NCAA rankings haven't been updated for a few games, and we've won at least 2 more since the last update. My gut tells me that we will have to win at least one game against Temple, and perhaps make it to the final game to lock the position up...

I think they need to win out... Not ranked and RPI isn't that strong.

Yeah, it could be. Last year's tourney (and this year's, I think) took 48 teams. Two weeks ago, we were ranked #57 in the RPI, but we have won a couple more games after that point, including a win against #25 (coaches' poll) South Florida. I suspect that we will be "receiving votes" prior to the start of the tourney. One win against Temple seems necessary, but it isn't clear to me what happens if we lose to South Florida in the next round.

The best way to handle this situation is to win it all...
