Rick Barnes is amazing, nobody manages to acquire more talent and do less with it. From all reports he's a good guy but his coaching strikes fear in no one.

So true. Hes been at Texas for like 20 years and what has this guy ever won?!!! Has he even made a final 4? He seems to be the epitomy of mediocrity and i dont know how to feel about it because he seems like a nice guy.

Yes. In 2003. Lost to Syracuse in the semifinal. UConn lost to Texas (in San Antonio) in the Sweet 16 that year.

I guess he's still there because he's made and kept UT basketball relevant. It hadn't been relevant since Lance Blanks and Travis Mays played there. But I don't think there's any question that his talent:results ratio is dead last.
