They released about 600 of the emails earlier in the week. I read through some of them. Not looking good for the NCAA. Their own emails admitted they couldn't nail Penn State, but maybe could bypass the enforcement rules because the school was so embarrassed by what happened that they would agree to just about anything. They also said that the whole Sandusky thing did not lead to a competitive advantage as one of their own employees pointed out that despite all the negative press about Sandusky the football program is still landing pretty good recruiting classes. Penn State had pretty much laid down for the NCAA up to this point, and after the emails were made public released a statement that said they are now considering their options.
