@MadDogUnleashed: Kevin Ollie is an NBA coach, he's going soon, not sure if its this year, but he's an NBA coach, but Ollie didn't win the game last night.

There are a lot of annoying sports journalists and sports talk radio personalities but nobody is even close to as stupid as Russo.

Maddog is almost always wrong, shocking he gets paid the way he does

I believe he originally applied for the job of weatherman but it was taken.

We should get used to this kind of talk, because it won't go away. However, as long as KO is paid at an appropriate level, and as long as his kids are in school, I don't think he'll leave. When/if he does, as long as we're in a major conference, the UConn brand will be so strong that we'll have our pick of top coaches.

Disagree. He knows the NBA. It's a revolving door. He's a college coach at our school & will stay a Long time.

He lives in his own little world.

There are a lot of examples, but I always liked this story to explain Russo: I was watching YES at the start of Mike & the Mad Dog. Russo is doing his usual intro, which includes the day and date. He says "...on this Tuesday, April 8th <looks down at newspaper> 2007." Within 10 minutes of that, he could be in an in-depth discussion about the set list at a Springsteen show in Poughkeepsie in 1978, but he has to double check what year it is.

Maddog enjoys being a contrarian and just says a lot of things to stir the pot and get callers. He used to do this all the time on the fan when francesa was on vacation. I'm guessing he doesn't really believe this, and I don't either.

I actually love listening to Mad Dog, but when he's convinced of something he always greatly exaggerates it, in fact his thing is usually to over-simplify it, and that's all he's doing...

I was listening to his show, he was saying "it's not rocket science folks, calm down" etc., that's his thing.

I like the Mad Dog as well but he loves to hate on our titles. I remember in 1999 he said that if UConn and Duke played 10 times, Duke would win 7. As if that means anything. So I'm not surprised he was hating on us again today. But I still like listening to him than Mike.
