OT: Michigan State changed their team name

This is so weak.

Which means every other university will take a look at MSU's $$$ from this and do their own thing.

So, UConn Huskies presented by ___________________??

Pratt and Whitney
Travelers Insurance
Electric Blue
Sally's
Pepe's

Nah. Let's pool our money and create a Senhor Testiculo LLC and use the money to sponsor the team.

Knew something like this would happen but not this far. This is as ugly as it gets. Just for administrators to pay themselves.

No it has to be presented by Teds. There’s no other way around it

Too obvious and too low lying of fruit.

We could pull money and pay homage to Big Red. If only there was a way to utilize this board to collect money and put in a donation for Big Red.

This is made even more funny by the fact that they accepted a $32M donation from Mat Ishbia a few weeks ago to build their new facilities. Rocket Mortgage is his biggest competitor
I wish we had a multi-billionaire alum...I wonder who our richest donor is

If Izzo can't.... Rocket can.

Absolutely ridiculous.

I remember watching the UConn/Florida game with German and Dutch friends and they asked 'Why is the stadium they are playing in named after a company unrelated to sports?" I told them that all stadiums are. They wanted to know why that was but I had no logical explanation. "Shouldn't the stadium just be named after the team?" .....Ya, makes no sense at all I told them. This makes even less sense, sets a scary precedent.

You should call them on Ziggo and ask what they think about this....
