I’m sure most Boneyarders know that Crimson and Clover was originally done by Tommy James and the Shondells back in 1968. In addition to the version by Joan Jett posted earlier it was also covered by Prince.

Several of the songs I posted in this thread aren't the original version. Sometimes I like a cover version better. That last Emmylou song I posted was originally done by Poco, but there's just no comparison in my mind.
